Robert Duvall may be best known as a Hollywood superstar with roles in the Godfather series as Tom Hagen, but he’s also trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Rigan Machado. Combined with his military background, this only adds to his already super-cool status. Pictured alongside Machado, Duvall is clearly no youngster either…so hats off to him.
The reason why Duvall trains is probably due to his wife, Luciana who is also a keen martial artist and also trains Krav Maga. During his time, Duvall has also been seen posing next to the legendary Pedro Sauer. So, if you’re on the mats with Duvall and he makes you an offer you can’t refuse – then it would be wise to take it!
