Simple Man Martial Arts is one of the world’s most influential modern submission grappling teams. Originally founded as B-Team Jiu-Jitsu, the academy emerged following the split of the Danaher Death Squad and quickly became known for its innovative approach to no-gi grappling.
The team was built around a group of elite competitors including Craig Jones, Nick Rodriguez, Nicky Ryan, Ethan Crelinsten, and other members of the former Danaher system. In 2025, the academy transitioned into Simple Man Martial Arts, representing a new chapter while maintaining the same technical foundation and coaching philosophy.
