Vitor Shaolin releases short documentary about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Vitor ‘Shaolin’ Ribeiro is undeniably one of the best ever when it comes to the gi and today he released a short documentary discussing his introduction and career in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Here, Shaolin talked about his beginnings into the ground game, saying that he used to fight as a teen for pride back in Brazil. After this, he became a black belt in 3.5 years at the age of 17 and then went into MMA in Japan.

He also mentioned his discovery of the half-guard ‘Shaolin’ sweep which happened during a BJJ match in 1999, and also his fierce rivalry with Leo Viera.
