Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, has expressed a desire to enhance his skills in mixed martial arts (MMA) by seeking guidance from accomplished UFC champions. Following Elon Musk’s recent training session with renowned MMA coach John Danaher and Georges St-Pierre, Zuckerberg is now engaged in training sessions with two esteemed MMA figures.
On a specific Tuesday, Israel Adesanya, the UFC middleweight champion, and Alexander Volkanovski, the UFC featherweight champion, shared images of Zuckerberg actively participating in intense training sessions with them. It is worth noting that Adesanya had recently successfully defended his title at UFC 290 during the preceding weekend.
Mark Zuckerberg has increasingly immersed himself in the MMA community, following numerous MMA-related accounts on social media. Furthermore, he and his wife, Priscilla Chan, attended a private UFC event last year. Zuckerberg’s commitment extends to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training, where he recently participated in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition as a white belt, earning a gold medal.
It is noteworthy that Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, engaged in an online feud, which sparked their mutual interest in a potential MMA fight in the foreseeable future. Dana White, president of the UFC, has acknowledged the seriousness of both individuals regarding this endeavor and expressed the UFC’s willingness to propose hosting such an event.
