The Pan Ams has returned and now has a set date. The competition will run from October 8th-11th and registration is from September 2nd-28th. Like all of the recent IBJJF competitions, competitors are only allowed one coach and spectators are not allowed.
Again with recent protocol of IBJJF – the venue will be regularly sanitised with the right precautions taking place.
Interestingly the 2020 Pan Ams will not require points to quality for all belts which is not usually the case for black belts. Because of this anyone can sign up regardless of past achievements or ability. This is good news for BJJ competitors and is the first of the major competitions to return post Covid19
