AOJ is a talent factory where top athletes and competitors are concerned. Most recently, the likes of the Ruotolo brothers are known to have trained there for years before switching to ATOS. Anyway, last week saw the promotion of Jessa Khan who got her black belt.
For those wondering, Jessa had won practically every available medal at the other belts so it was only logical that she got promoted to black belt after training from a young age. She earned her black belt at age 18 as well which means her belt will also be recognized at IBJJF tournaments. It will be interesting to see how she does at black belt but if her past achievements are to go by then she will be just fine.
