In this video, Gustavo Gasperin shows the pendulum sweep from closed guard in nogi. Here, he underhooks the opponent’s leg, controls their arm and creates an angle. He then chops down against the arm to generate the momentum to create the sweep. As you may have noticed with this sweep, it also ties in nicely with an armbar submission.
