Gordon Ryan has always known to be outspoken and continued this trend on his Instagram story where he called out rival Keenan Cornelius and alluded to Cornelius having shady business practices. Gordon’s story said “Could you imagine a situation where your teacher kicks out a student out of your gym (atos), that student opens up 3 minutes away from your teachers school, taking money out of his pocket, food out his family’s mouths, and while trying to simultaneously trying to steal your schools top instructors and training partners, then you go to help him make dvds even when he’s actively trying to f*** you, and everyone who runs your academy. It’s incredible, this sport is filled with dirtbags who would kill their mom for a dollar and with people as loyal as a hot chick married to an old rich guy. Everyone talks about honor and loyalty but shows that their about the exact opposite lmao the funny part is, Hinger will sell about $170 worth of instructionals this entire year. That’s the type of money he’s f***ing his teacher over for.”
For those unaware, Gordon Ryan was talking about the situation over at ATOS and Legion. Earlier this year Keenan Cornelius left ATOS to start his own gym, Legion AJJ. Ryan showed his own take on the situation accusing him and Josh Hinger of being disloyal to Andre Galvao at ATOS. Further, Cornelius recently released an instructional platform called Jiu Jitsu X which features Hinger amongst others. Ryan and Cornelius have had a rivalry for sometime now after previously being friends.
Cornelius responded calling it “Anti-Capitalist Liberal bulls***” . This probably won’t be the last of it as the pair have had beef for some time now and often clash due to opposing views.
