Life seems to roll on in Poland as far as BJJ is concerned. This weekend saw Adam Wardzinski crowned the black belt Polish National Champion for the fifth year in a row. Due to Covid, there was only one open-weight category, so unlike other years Wardzinski couldn’t win two medals due to default.
The competition took place in the gi and was his first competition since Polaris Squads for team Europe. Once again, his achievement solidifies his status as one of the best in the game right now, especially in the gi. This brings us to the question as to whether there’s anyone out there right now with a butterfly guard as good as his?
