Yesterday, Garry Tonon notched up an impressive victory in One which saw him make a claim for a title shot and move his MMA record to 6-0. However, his old rival AJ Agazarm was not impressed and as usual, was up to his typical trolling. In an emotive Instagram post, Tonon said “I love and hate fighting so much. So much suffering, so much sacrifice, so much pain, all for the CHANCE, not guarantee, to taste victory.” to which Agazarm replied “Blah blah blah, u need to quit fighting before you get more brain damage. That was your worst performance. You’re already tone deaf and u might be losing motor skills next. And shave ur awful head of hair, u look like u have lice. Srsly.”
It should be noted that Agazarm is no stranger to MMA himself, who previously fought in Bellator but was recently released from the promotion with a 3-2 record. Tonon responded with class by saying “good to see you aj hope you are well.” to which Agazarm had to have the final say by adding “I can’t believe they are shutting down the Nyc gym and why haven’t u made ur shit stain student fight mma yet? He’s ruining the sport. This is ur fault.”
The two have history after meeting in a gi superfight a couple of years ago. Here Agazarm’s knee was torqued badly in a kneebar where he refused to tap. Tonon later claimed it was the loudest pop he ever heard.
