Conor McGregor has been known for his charitable gestures down the years and his fierce loyalty towards Ireland. Today, it was revealed that he made a financial donation towards SBG Portarlington who were struggling due to the Covid 19 restrictions in place in the Republic of Ireland.
The SBG Portarlington Instagram post stated “From the lowest low to the highest high. WE ARE NOT CLOSING!! Our team-mate and friend @thenotoriousmma has decided to help us out and keep the gym running. We will be eternally grateful. To everyone that messaged and got in touch with us to show your support, thank you all so much. See you all on the mats. Oss!!”
Love him or hate him, it seems that if McGregor is your friend then he is a great ally and this was a fantastic gesture to help a struggling BJJ gym.
