Mikey Musumeci has practically done everything that you can in the gi, he has now won a World Record from Guinness for the quickest ever (probably at a major IBJJF competition at black belt). This took 12 seconds at the Worlds Finals and was one of his signature straight ankle locks. The submission came after a double guard pull and Musumeci took no time in finishing his opponent.
According to Musumeci, the previous record stood at 17 seconds and stood for over 20 years. It also makes you wonder what other cool BJJ records are out there to be unearthed in the future. Watch the video below to see Musumeci hit the footlock which has helped make him famous.
