Gordon Ryan took to instagram this morning to confirm the death of his father who was also named Gordon Ryan.
His father had moved to Puerto Rico with the rest of the Danaher death squad only last month. Ryan paid tribute to his father saying “He wasn’t perfect, but he was the best dad and the best friend I could ever ask for”.
Gordon Ryan is known for taking care of his parents since his grappling career blew up. He was sighted buying a new car for his dad in April of 2020, as well as buying a condo for his mother in Florida later in the year.
Ryan has been quoted as saying “My dad has always supported me from day one. They [my parents] come with me to all of my big events and are always the first people to stand up and cheer when I win”.
