United BJJ is a gym based in Hawaii that is owned by Bruno Pucci and his partner Angela Lee. Both of these are ONE FC regulars and Angela in particular has a strong following in Singapore.
Anyway, their gym didn’t get off to the best of starts in 2021 as a vandal was seen trying to destroy the gym. He managed to smash windows and break the door which was recorded by CCTV. A blade was found at the scene which would have been used to cause the carnage. Whether it was premeditated or a random, drunk attempt is unknown at this point but the police have been notified.
In a statement, Pucci wrote “Unfortunately we did not have the best start to the new year, as we just found out someone had vandalized and smashed our gym (windows and door). We have already met with the police and filed a report. We are shocked and disgusted by this act but we are incredibly grateful that no one was hurt.”
