Travis Barker may be known as one of the coolest ever drummers to grace the planet. But now he’s also got even cooler by detailing his rolling session with UFC’s Dominic Cruz. According to Barker, he said “He’d be tossing me around. He’d try to sleep me”. Often celebrities in BJJ are accused of getting to roll lightly, but it sounds like Barker’s experience was far from this.
Apparently, Barker and his kids both train BJJ. He trains at the Gracie Academy under Rener and Rorion Gracie. Like many, Barker suffers from bad bouts of depression so undoubtedly BJJ can be used as a form of stress release, as it is for so many.
