Brandon Moreno has been making strides in the UFC lately and now has his black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that further proves his status as a grappler. The Mexican was promoted this week by his professor, Raul Arvizu at the Entram gym in Tijuana, Mexico where he trains.
Undoubtedly, the BJJ skills of Moreno have never been in question either, as 10 of his 18 MMA wins have came from submission, meaning he is something of a submission specialist. The bulk of these are comprised of rear naked choke’s and triangles. He also recently drew his match for the UFC flyweight title against Deiveson Figueiredo and is entering a rematch at some point.
