Today saw one of Gracie Barra’s rising stars get promoted to black belt. Pedro Marinho received the honor by his professor Ulpiano Malachias. The Brazilian has already featured at ADCC and won various titles at Worlds as a colored belt so he is in good stead to perform as a black belt.
Alongside this, he has also regularly featured on the superfight scene for some time now, so his promotion has been quite overdue. During his thank you post on Instagram, he also paid thanks to Felipe Pena who he has also trained under down the years.
