Marco Lunardini is an Italian grappler who started his training as a teenager and eventually moved to Ireland where he joined the SBG gym. Whilst here, he was training partners with the likes of Conor McGregor and learned his craft under John Kavanagh. When fighting in MMA, his weight was usually around 62KG, so he was considered a featherweight.
After a brief stint in MMA, he then switched his attention to grappling and has since fought on promotions such as Polaris which is based in the UK and streamed on UFC Fightpass. Here, he fought some of the best in Europe, such as the likes of Dinu Bucalet and others.
These days, he focuses more on grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu having transitioned over from MMA which happens to many people. Lunardini is part of the growing contingent of talented Italian grapplers that are continuing to push the art in the European scene.
