Over the past couple of years, Robert Degle has established himself as one of the brightest minds when it comes to teaching new concepts about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as well as remaining very active in the no gi competition circuit.
This week, he was promoted by Brandon Bennett whilst training at Odyssey Jiu Jitsu in Atlanta, Georgia. Degle is perhaps best known for his heel hook game and even had a spell in MMA many years ago. In more recent times, his BJJ journey has been fairly nomadic, often travelling all over the world whilst teaching BJJ. Upon receiving his black belt, he added on Instagram, “Looking forward to being able to test myself in the IBJJF black belt divisions.”
