It turns out that Craig Jones was dead serious about creating the B-Team Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym in Austin, Texas. A recent video showed the gym that looked like it was hosted inside some kind of indoor business location. Once in, the gym looked slick with fresh white mats and plenty of space.
Outside, it had the B-Team logo that we’ve seen on social media, as well as the four owners and instructors; Craig Jones, Nicky Ryan, Nick Rodriguez, and Ethan Crelinsten. During this footage, we saw Jones, Crelinsten and Izaak Mitchell all rolling and going through guillotine escapes.
Interestingly, this confirms that Nicky Ryan will not be joining his brother Gordon who is instead creating a gym alongside John Danaher and Garry Tonon that will also be in Austin, Texas. Their gym is going to be called New Wave. According to Craig Jones, his gym will be open to the public from September onward and is available for hobbyists as well as serious BJJ practitioners.
