Lawsuit filed against FloSports for ‘misleading’ claims

This week, it was revealed that a man named Jerry Hill had filed a class action lawsuit against FloSports on the basis that he “claims FloSports misleads customers into believing they are only being charged a monthly fee — rather than the full annual fee — when they first sign up for the sports streaming service.”

The news of this story broke when a Redditor shared their experience, whereby they’d seen an advert on their Instagram page which highlighted the lawsuit. As of now, it’s not known whether others have signed the lawsuit or whether Hill is going against FloSports by himself. More can be seen on the story here.

In short, this isn’t the first time that FloSports has been criticized on Reddit. Although the streaming site is incredibly popular with BJJ fans and has streamed ADCC for years, it still has its share of critics. Over the years, various Reddit users have claimed that FloSports fails to stop charging them after closing their FloSports account. Of course, at this point, these are merely claims. However, it seems that Jerry Hill is literally taking his claims to court.
