Nick Rodriguez Gets Manhandled By Sumo Wrestler But Craig Jones Gets Kneebar Revenge

The B-Team members, consisting of Craig Jones, Nicky Rodriguez, and Haisam Rida, recently enjoyed a visit to a sumo stable in Japan after their victorious participation in the Quintet 4 tournament.

Nick Rodriguez was made to look noticeably small by a gigantic sumo. Rodriguez, who is usually much taller and more muscular than his opponents, was easily picked up by the sumo wrestler who was not phased by his opponents wrestling skills. However, as sumo wrestling is more similar to greco-roman than freestyle wrestling, this meant that Nick Rodriguez was not allowed to take any shots, since putting his knee or hand to the floor would have resulted in an instant loss.

Craig Jones, on the other hand, did not seem to care for the rules and claimed that it was liberating to wrestle in a thong, as well as affectionately referring to the sumos as “BBWs” or “big beautiful wrestlers.”

The Australian banter machine managed to secure a kneebar against his unsuspecting opponent, who seemed to take it in his stride. It seems the last thing he was expecting was Jones to pull guard and invert to a kneebar. While this move might secure victory in a submission grappling tournament, it would result in a loss in a sumo match, as any part of your body other than the soles of your feet touching the ground spells defeat.

Regardless, nobody seemed to care and everyone seemed to be having a genuinely fun time.
