Rener And Ryron Gracie to release Combatives 2.0

Rener and Ryron Gracie, renowned members of the renowned Gracie family, have recently announced the upcoming release of Gracie Combatives 2.0, an updated version of their classic program originally produced 13 years ago. Gracie Combatives was designed as a comprehensive introductory program for complete beginners, providing a foundational understanding of Jiu-Jitsu concepts and their application in self-defense situations.

Although Gracie Combatives and Gracie University faced initial criticism, Rener and Ryron Gracie have consistently refined the program over the years, earning widespread acceptance. The new 2.0 edition maintains the original program’s structure, including the awarding of a Gracie Combatives belt upon completion. A key feature of the updated course is the integration of “The 32 Principles,” a framework developed by Rener Gracie to distill the essential elements of Jiu-Jitsu.

Over the years, Rener and Ryron have made a big impact online but have also been known for their Torrance, CA gym which has trained UFC fighters such as Brian Ortega.

Gracie Combatives 2.0 promises an extensive curriculum, including 36 core techniques, 36 bonus techniques, and practical guidance on self-defense scenarios. The program also provides 20 tips for navigating street fights and “Verbal De-Escalation Strategies” to help practitioners defuse potentially dangerous situations. The new course will be launched on February 8th, 2024, accompanied by a live-streamed launch party hosted by the Gracie brothers, offering attendees a limited-time discounted price.
