Today saw Dean Lister post that he had the most heel hook victories in ADCC history with a total of 9. He said on Instagram “Most in ADCC history? I legit didn’t know this fact.”

Dean Lister – 9
Vinny Magalhaes – 6
Joao Assis – 3
Rousimir Palhares – 3
With this said, Lister is by far some way above his rivals and you can’t help but admire 9 heel hooks against some of the best grapplers ever. Will this feat ever be beaten? Who knows. But regardless, it proves why Dean Lister is hailed as one of the greatest leg lockers ever and rightly so.
