Elvira Karppinen is a Finnish 10th Planet black belt under Eddie Bravo and her husband Lauri Karppinen. She is also best known as one of 10th Planets most successful competitors and has medalled at the likes of ADCC, proving her elite status.
This week saw Eddie Bravo release a 57 minute documentary called ‘Viking Spirit’ which is based around the BJJ career of Elvira. Overall, it’s nicely put together and shows her highs and lows. From winning matches to her big knee injury in 2018 as well as general life and running her own gym, it’s a good insight into the world of a top competitor. The video can be viewed in full below.
