Freddie Prinze Jr Credits BJJ For Friendship With Late Paul Walker

In a recent rare interview about his friendship with Paul Walker, Freddie Prinze Jr urged others to “not make the same mistakes I did” when putting off spending time together.

At the time of his death, Walker was a brown belt under Ricardo Miller, but was later awarded a posthumous black belt. It is not known if Freddie Prinze Jr is still training BJJ, but he was thought to be a blue belt at this time.

Prinze Jr added that “a lot of times in life we take friendships for granted, we put things off”.

He described his friendship with Paul Walker as a “unique bond because of gracie jiu jitsu, we rolled a few times, but never really sparred and went hard”.

He then becomes emotional before saying he put the friendship off for 2 years and becomes visibly upset when thinking about spending time with Walker.
