Gordon Ryan recently took fan questions on his Instagram account and revealed that he may eventually move to Texas at some point. This along with Florida was one of the US destinations that many thought he may move to – but instead went to Puerto Rico.
When answering questions, some said “Move to Texas(?)” to which Gordon Ryan replied “Haha I promise it’s coming eventually.” He also added “If I opened a school in Texas would you 100% join?”
It is no secret that Texas is a convenient location for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu right now and hosts a number of superfight events such as WNO which Gordon Ryan and the Danaher Death Squad are involved with. The likes of Joe Rogan also relocated to the state after taxes were raised in many other areas of the country.
So, it seems that it’s not a question of ‘if’, and more a question of ‘when’. To add to this idea, the Danaher gym is still not built in Puerto Rico although it is still meant to be going ahead. Does this mean that Gordon Ryan could be returning to mainland soil anytime soon?
