Gordon Ryan is no stranger to controversy and loves to mock his enemies. Today this could be seen with his latest Instagram post where he took shots at his main rivals.
The photo featured what looked to be a therapy session; here the heads of Keenan Cornelius, Dillon Danis, Pat Downey and Josh Hinger were all superimposed onto the bodies. Ryan had specifically picked out images of his rivals looking scared or anxious, with Danis looking tearful.
The caption read “Remember, in here you’re safe, Gordon can’t harm you here”. This comes after months of bitter rivalry between Ryan and the foursome. His rivalry with Danis has stretched back years, whilst he recently fought Downey in a hybrid wrestling/BJJ super fight. Regarding Cornelius and Hinger, he fell out with them claiming they tried to get team mate Craig Jones kicked from ADCC for spreading pinkeye. Not only this but his feud with Cornelius was recently ignited when Cornelius targeted him for training whilst Coronavirus was spreading in the US.
Whilst it’s only a joking meme it does show the tension between him and those mentioned with the former ATOS pair being his main rivals. Hopefully this can lead to some super fights down the road to settle any beef which would be good for everyone involved, especially the fans.
