Last week at F2W 149 it was mentioned that Emil Fischer caused a stir with his entrance and grappling outfit. In short, he was dressed as a unicorn which prompted Flo Grappling to caption his match with “When your opponent thinks he’s a unicorn so you squeeze his face and take his soul”.
As stated in our previous article, Fischer is a successful competitor and previous champion under the F2W promotion amongst other achievements. The video gained Fischer criticism from grappling fans who didn’t like his outfit, although fellow competitors such as Chad Hardy thought it was a disrespectful caption considering Fischer’s competition accolades.
Whatever your opinion, Fischer has not taken kindly to his treatment from Flo Grappling. Two days ago his Instagram page stated:
“Im just getting started on my #fuckflo campaign. The main catalyst for this is their claim that my opponent at #f2w149 did anything but effectively hold me down. And I’ll tell you a little secret: training with elite wrestlers and mma fighters at @strongstyle_mma I’m pretty used to being held down and even attacking WHILE being held down. I appreciate the @f2wbjj announcers noticing my attempt to channel my inner @vagnerrochabjj and smother my opponent from bottom mount.
This may have been the most dangerous submission attempt the whole match, guy couldn’t breath! I removed his soul! (How dumb is that. No souls were harmed in the making of this video.) (Except for maybe @sethdanielsf2w and the spectators/fans who had to endure watching this absolute fiasco of a match sorry Seth I’ll do better next time)
Also wheres the #redbeltdocumentary?”
As seen, Fischer’s response was a little tongue in cheek at times but the point remains he isn’t happy. Today he released a criticism of Hywell Teague and asked where the $17,000 had gone for his Red Belt documentary which has still not been released.
Time will tell how this one develops but it’s fair to say there has been no love lost with Emil Fischer and his association with Flo Grappling.
