In a recent viral video shot in USA, a cop was filmed using slick BJJ against a thief in a supermarket. The clip begins with the aggressor using a pole to break glass to get to the stock. The policeman managed to take down the thief with relative ease, perhaps even using a foot sweep in the process. After this, he managed to calmly hold the aggressor in mount and try to apply handcuffs.
With the aggressor restrained yet trying to fend off the handcuffs, the cop eventually swung to an armbar to further restrain them. After this, backup arrived and they successfully managed to defend the store without laying a single punch on the thief. Funnily, the person filming said “I ain’t even mad at the cop” after they pulled off the technical armbar.
