Gordon Ryan was back at it again today, this time taking a dig at his long-term rival Dillon Danis. This came after the Polaris Instagram account referred to Danis as “One of the most polarising athletes in professional BJJ” and said “He always puts on a show”
Replying to this statement, Ryan said “Does Dillon have a non winning record in every single grappling promotion he has ever competed in. Lmao he’s 3-5 at Copa Podio, 2-3 at Worlds, 1-1 at Polaris, 1-1 at SUG and 1-3 at ADCC. Have him fight a random dude in the crowd, he needs a good win at this point”
Whether El Jefe will feature at the next Polaris is unknown but in reality quite unlikely. Since his transition to MMA, he hasn’t really done many BJJ super fights at all. Nonetheless, his rivalry with Gordon Ryan continues to rumble on.
