Yesterday saw Miha Perhavec promoted to black belt by his professor, Keenan Cornelius. The Slovenian said that “It’s not possible for me to be unemotional about the symbolism of this moment” and also referenced years of training at various gyms across the globe. He also shouted out Legion AJJ claiming it was “one of the best academies in the world”.
Perhavec has made waves as a brown belt in terms of competition, so will no doubt do the same at black belt. He is also a black belt in Judo so he is now a fully accomplished grappler in all areas.
