Hooper is known as something of a submission-specialist in MMA and has a pro record of 10-1. Five of those wins have been by submission, with his latest being a heel hook against Peter Barrett in UFC 256. He also won gold in 2016 as a juvenile blue belt when competing at the Pan-Ams, so his BJJ isn’t just MMA-suited either and he is very handy in the gi.
