It’s been on the cards for weeks, but now it’s official – the Craig Jones vs Gabi Garcia superfight is actually happening. This began when Garcia said she would fight anyone, including men. It turns out that Craig Jones took that literally, and now it’s happening.
In a recent interview, Jones claimed that it would take place at her gym in LA. This will be streamed for free and is a nogi, no time limit match which means submissions are on the cards. Often people criticize Garcia for being too big vs smaller, female opponents. In fairness, she clearly isn’t going to be able to rely on strength against Craig Jones. This one will be an interesting match, if not for the memes as much as anything else.
