Firas Zahabi’s Tristar Gym harassed by police 16 times due to ‘cowards’

Legendary BJJ and MMA coach Firas Zahabi, recently took to Youtube to moan about police harassment which targeted his Montreal gym. Here, he claimed the local police had visited his gym 16 times over recent months, even coming three times in one day at one point.

He went on to explain that he believed this was due to the company that was located below his premises – who called the police in a petty war over parking spaces. Whilst Zahabi admitted that he didn’t know if this was a fact, he also said it was the only logical explanation.

According to Zahabi, his lawyer had claimed that he was well within his rights to open the gym up for private sessions and this was within the Canadian Covid rules. He then went on to explain that he would be trying to meet up with the business located beneath him, and branded them ‘cowards’. As well, he said that if the police visited a 17th time, then he would film them.
