Today, John Danaher released some shocking news on his Instagram account citing that the Danaher Death Squad was to split up. Speaking on the matter, he began by saying how it was the “End of an era.” and then added the end of the squad was down to “A combination of factors revolving around disagreements in physical location of a future school, personality conflicts, conflicting values and an inevitable tension between the team brand and the growing individual brands of members were the main factors.”
He went on to speak glowingly about the squad and his memories over the years and added special praise towards Garry Tonon, Gordon Ryan, Craig Jones, Eddie Cummings, Nicky Ryan and Nick Rodriguez. Having said this, there’s still every chance that he will still work alongside at least some of the squad. If you were a gambling man, you’d say that Danaher would continue with the Ryan brothers and possibly Garry Tonon.
As for the Puerto Rico location, it has been up in the air for a while. Back in the day, it was supposedly meant to be completed by March. This never happened, and since then Ryan has teased the idea of moving to Texas. So, what does this mean? Time will tell and keep posted for more news…however Danaher is right – it truly is the end of an era.
