Today on Instagram, Gordon Ryan confirmed his move to Texas and also added that he would be building his own gym there. Alongside this, he asked fans in Texas exactly where he would be moving to. Just a couple of weeks ago, we broke this news as he responded to a fan question, so the move has been in the works for some time it seems.
In recent years, Texas has become a bit of a hub where Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is concerned in America and recently Gordon Ryan has done several seminars and super fights in the state. It is understood that Gordon Ryan will be moving to Texas alongside his longtime mentor John Danaher.
A few days back, Gordon Ryan alluded that he would always train under John Danaher closely, of course – this is yet to be confirmed. It is still unknown who will be joining him from Puerto Rico but you can also assume that his younger brother Nicky will also be joining him.
