In an interesting turn of events, the Wu Tang Clan’s RZA released a music video named Fate Of The World, whilst wearing an Albino Preta gi. This was a white gi with the classic Wu Tang logo in yellow and black on the front of the kimono.
Since breaking onto the rap scene in the 90s, the Wu Tang Clan have always had a close affinity with martial arts – and this can be seen with a lot of their lyrics. However, for years they were associated with Shaolin Kung Fu which was based on enjoying the films as kids.
Now it seems, RZA has moved onto BJJ and wore the gi which was an Albino Preta collaboration with Wu Tang Clan. Whether he trains BJJ isn’t known though, and it may have been worn purely for fashion. If you’d like to buy this gi then it’s actually available and was originally released in October 2021. However, getting hold of it may be easier said than done. It’s also available in black and yellow too.
