Connor Swindells is best known for his role as Adam Groff in Sex Education. It’s fair to say that he made his name as an actor on the show. However, aside from acting Swindells is also a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Like many celebrities, it seems that he is also happy to practice the gentle art during his downtime and as seen, he currently holds the rank of a two stripe white belt.
In a post on his Instagram account, Swindells wrote “Loving this new journey, thank you for the lessons on and off the mat”
Here, he stood next to Jonathan Villada, a black belt from Carlson Gracie London. This makes sense, seeing as Swindells is from London which has become a bit of an English hot spot where BJJ gyms are concerned. Who knows, by the time of the next Sex Education series, Swindells could be a blue belt? Watch this space.
