The Matchup
Lovato Jr., 43, is a longtime fixture of the American BJJ scene. He won the IBJJF World Championship at black belt in 2007 and the Brazilian Nationals absolute division in 2013 — becoming the first non-Brazilian to win each, before retiring undefeated (11-0) from professional MMA, where he held the Bellator middleweight title. He has competed for ONE Championship in submission grappling since 2025, most recently defeating Giancarlo Bodoni by unanimous decision at ONE 173 in Tokyo.
Jaworski, 21, is a Polish black belt out of Academia Gorila in Warsaw who swept the IBJJF No-Gi Pans, No-Gi Europeans, and No-Gi World Championships in 2025, his first year at black belt. He made his ONE Championship debut earlier this year, challenging Tye Ruotolo for the promotion’s welterweight submission grappling world title at ONE Fight Night 41.
