It’s yet another round of Danaher Death Squad vs ATOS HQ as WNO on February 26th will see Craig Jones fight Ronaldo Junior in a no gi match. According to the WNO rankings, Craig Jones is 4th whilst Ronaldo Junior is ranked 9th. Ronaldo Junior was previously meant to face Gordon Ryan last year who dropped out due to contracting Coronavirus at the time.
Interestingly, Ronaldo Junior is also a big-time gi player too, whilst Jones has been known as a no gi specialist for some time now. As a result, most people currently have Jones as the favorite. In another twist, Jones took a slight dig at Josh Hinger, the team mate of Ronaldo Junior. He said “He needs to only ask his team mate Josh, not even pink eye will keep me at home”. This is referring to the 2019 ADCC where Jones competed with pinkeye, which lead to a beef between Hinger and Gordon Ryan.
