Today the Flograppling channel released footage of Roger Gracie sparring Felipe Pena in Pena’s gym. These are two of the greatest grapplers ever so the video is a real treat for BJJ fans.
The video starts with Roger jumping into a closed guard. For the next few minutes it shows Pena defending against Roger’s infamous high guard diamond position. Eventually, Pena manages to posture and stand up. From there he explosively manages to escape Rogers legs and almost takes his back!
However, Roger wins the scramble almost coming up to gain top scarfhold. Pena quickly regains a closed guard and the footage ends.
