Gordon Ryan claims he’d submit Felipe Pena and 4 other Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts in a row

Gordon Ryan today named his ideal opponents for the possible superfight match of USA vs Brazil. The idea was proposed yesterday and has since gained a decent level of traction. If it did happen then Ryan would opt for a Brazilian team of Felipe Pena, Cyborg Abreu, Matheus Diniz, Vagner Rocha and Kennedy Maciel (Cobrinha Jr).

In a typical, interesting Gordon Ryan twist he also added a little flavor to his pick, adding “I will submit these 5 back to back with no break in between. Doubt me”

He also mentioned that he would not compete against Kaynan Duarte for personal reasons. Although he has beaten Duarte before, he has always resented the Brazilian for holding back sparring footage of the two from years back. According to Ryan, this footage could have been auctioned off to charity, but Duarte blocked it.
