Erberth Santos is no stranger to controversy and today sunk to a new low. On Instagram, he posted a video of Gordon Ryan kissing his dead father’s head at his funeral. The video read ‘pouco seu filho vai te visitar’ which roughly translates to ‘your child will visit you’.
If this wasn’t bad enough, in a now deleted instagram post. Santos also claimed that if Gordon Ryan came to Brazil he would kill him and rape his girlfriend Nathalia Santoro.
Although there is some rivalry right now between Gordon Ryan and various Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitors, obviously this behavior is a new low. It’s one thing trash talking to hype up a match but bringing someones dead parent into the matter is simply too far and uncalled for.
In the past, Santos has made the news for charging at Felipe Pena during a match, urinating himself when competing and having a bizarre AK-47 tattooed across his chest.
Gordon Ryan responded to the video by saying “If I died today I will still have accomplished more at 25 than you, your kids, and your kids-kids will accomplish in their entire lives” he also went on to say “Oh and I don’t have a single loss via quitting for no reason”
