Sapateiro to host World Championship with $100,000 prize money

Sapateiro, a renowned professional grappling organization within North America, has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative in the form of its inaugural World Championship tournament. This prestigious competition, carrying a substantial prize purse of up to $100,000, will be exclusively contested within the 160lb weight class. The substantial financial incentive, coupled with the tournament’s esteemed lineage, is certain to attract the world’s most elite competitors in this esteemed division.

Sapateiro’s commitment to delivering a world-class experience extends to its meticulous selection of officiating personnel. The tournament will utilize the ADCC rule set, widely considered the gold standard in professional grappling. Furthermore, certified ADCC judges have been secured to ensure the utmost fairness and accuracy in determining the victors.

This bold endeavor by Sapateiro represents a significant milestone for the organization, solidifying its position as a pioneer within the grappling landscape. The year 2024 will be dedicated to meticulously crafting the path towards the coveted championship title.
